You have a variety of options at your disposal, ranging from Word itself, which may surprise you but has incredibly useful translation features, to online translation services that support the direct loading of Word documents and enable them to be translated into numerous different languages.
How to translate a document with Word
You probably haven’t seen it yet, but it is possible to translate a Word document directly using the well-known data processing computer code from Microsoft, as I mentioned earlier. Although the translated content is shown within the browser rather than being stored directly in a new DOC or DOCX file, you may still copy and paste it into a new Word document without significantly altering the original information.
But, if you haven’t installed Word on your laptop yet, you should attempt to do so first. Follow the instructions I gave you in my specific guide on what to try to do to transfer and track Word. Once the Word screen is displayed, open the document you’re interested in acting on by selecting the appropriate option or by gaining access to the menu File at the top left and selecting the Open item gift in it along with the location and the reference file. Then, start the program by selecting the relevant link that you recognize within the Windows begin menu or within the MacOS platform.
To translate a document using Word, select the Revision tab from the toolbar at the top, click the Translate button, then click the item to select the translation language or set the translation language from the menu that appears.
Use the Interpretation from and Translation into drop-down menus to specify the source (for example, English) and target (for example, Italian) languages of the document to be translated in the window that appears. Make sure the language of your choice is selected (for example, Italian) simultaneously within the menu option of language for the mini-translator and click on the OK button to save the settings.
- Try the following solutions if the drop-down menus for language selection are empty or include the formula “no service available” (no service available).
- Choose the Word Revision tab, then, from the menu that appears, click the Choose Translation Language option after first selecting the Translate button. Respond positively to the warning that appears on the screen, choose the item, use the bar that appears on the right to discover new search services, and respond positively to Word’s request for a recurring check of recent search services.
- In the menu that appears, look for “control panel” and select the control board icon from the list of search results by clicking on the Windows begin button (the flag placed in the lower left corner of the screen). Go to Uninstall a program, pick the item related to Microsoft Office, and then click the change button located at the top of the window that appears. The translation tools in Word should now function properly.
